I am interested in second-order research, that is, studying how research is to be carried out in areas where common research designs do not help. Such situations have been reported in a number of applied and clinical areas. Doing research in these areas calls for introducing creative extensions to the standard forms of inquiry. The new forms of inquiry I find interesting are the ones where we introduce new ways of observing, languaging, and acting within a context, which have the effect of bringing forth some research-like outcome.
Major Aim as Focus Editor. To encourage researchers and professionals to interrogate the dilemmatic aspects of their practice and consider upgrading the practice through innovation.
